Good Charlotte announce album #6 "Youth Authority"
When The Madden Brothers released their solo/duo album after their stint on The Voice Australia, it left fans wondering why the fuck they didn't team up with the rest of Good Charlotte and release a new album instead of the piece of shit we had to endure?
Well worry no more as the boys are set to release their brand new 6th studio album with the rest of the band in the form of Youth Authority on July 15th. The new album features the song "Makeshift Love" which we featured back in November when they announced their hiatus was over. Fast forward to now and the guys have released the new single "40 oz. Dream" which is a nostalgic/memory filled track about the year 2003 (when they released their career defining album The Young and the Hopeless and proved they could actually write/perform decent songs, at the time). It's a song that brings back all the feels of that year, yet reminds you that you're old and all the music you used to listen to isn't the same. Great job bring that back up Good Charlotte. We haven't heard any "pop punk" styled music yet, hold out hope that the rest of the songs on the album will revisit that stage in the band's career and we won't have to endure another version of "We Are Done" ever again
