Frank Carter Blasts Naysayers Opposing His 'Girls Only' Moshpits: "I'll Forcibly Eject You Myself"

It was one of the most clicked and commented on articles we've posted this year and we will continue to talk about it for years to come, despite some naysayers who just don't get it, but Frank Carter made international headlines for his "girls only" moshpit at Reading Festival, a movement he has been doing at all of his shows for the better part of the past few years which has been met with praise and appreciation from the girls in attendance.

However, as with everything good, there's always going to be someone trying to shit on the parade and he addressed these "dinosaurs" during this week's episode of Wall of Sound: Up Against The Wall when chatting with Browny about the concept and idea, to which he revealed:

"Obviously there's small pockets of people [that are] desperate to retain their ignorance and they want to try and crush it down, but those are the same people that I'm desperate to identify so I can remove them from my life as quickly as possible. If you want to sit on a hill and claim that what I'm doing is sexist because apparently it doesn't include men, then I think you're missing the entire point of my argument and quite possibly you're a white, middle-class, privileged, entitled man, sat on a hill being grumpy."

To make it even more clear for those who still don't get it, he went on saying:

"I'm trying to change the minds of the people who are in the pit, actively encouraging them to think about their behaviour and think about everybody in that pit as their equal and just treat them with respect, love and kindness... If you get into my pit to cause trouble, to take advantage of a situation for your own personal gain, you don't belong there."

"I'll make that very fucking clear and if you don't leave I'll forcibly eject you myself!" Frank Carter on fighting back against the naysayers at his shows.

But the fury didn't end there, when Browny mentioned that he couldn't believe there were some "fuckwits out there who don't understand that and couldn't get it through their heads", Frank chimed back in with:

"Exactly. This is what I'm saying... they victimise themselves and it's just so stunning because they're not even in the current moment, they're watching as a spectator far away. I've been called a lot of things by people like that, but the reality is you don't let it in because the work you're actually doing... it's far more important."

"I'm not trying to win over someone who is basically like an old stuck biggot... those dinosaurs will die out, we're the meteor now!"

A-fucking-men.

If you still have an issue with Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes dedicating one song of their set to the women in attendance, then maybe you're in the wrong place and you need to take a good hard long look at yourself...
