Cultists Drop Heavy Single ‘No Good’ feat. CJ McMahon

Sydney/Warrang heavy metallers Cultists have graced the scene with the newly released single ‘No Good.’ This song highlights the hardcore influences of the underground deathcore group, alongside a feature by the legendary CJ McMahon of Thy Art Is Murder.

The introductory bass riffs and drums draw the listener in before launching into catchy guitars and heavy screams. Once the intro is complete, we get the first chorus and signature riffs of the song. The lead guitar is prominent here and stands out at the conclusion of the chorus, without taking away from the rest of the band. After the first chorus sounds off, it feels like this song just gets heavier and heavier! There are a couple of vocal change-ups to keep you on your toes, in addition to an expertly delivered “blegh.” CJ makes his ferocious appearance to call the listener to a tough breakdown where his gutturals take the latest Cultists breakdown to new levels of heavy.

Cultists have delivered a tough, in-your-face deathcore track to get you pumping your fist and banging your head. These guys have a killer energy in ‘No Good’ and I am keen to hear more.
