Carrington Push Forward with First Single in Two Years 'I Can Feel the Air'
Perth/Nyoongar pop punk act Carrington have been rather silent over the past two years, their last single 'Reverse' dropping way back in 2020, and we were beginning to wonder if the band were even still a thing. But like our friends in Grenade Jumper, the Western Aussies have also done some soul searching to figure out their place in music.
'I Can Feel the Air' sees the boys channel their former angsty style of punk into a seeringly edgy rock direction that sounds like the dawn of a brand new era for these Perth pop punkers. It's more of an anthemic rock style that will catch your ears if you're in tune with the likes of Movements, Trophy Eyes and Boston Manor.
Honestly, there is no doubt that this punchy new direction will see more heads turn towards Carrington, giving them the breakthrough they've been waiting all this time for.
