Caliban Share Title-Track ‘Back From Hell’ From Upcoming 15th Studio Album

Household German metalcore outfit Caliban have announced their upcoming 15th studio album Back From Hell and dropped a new music video celebrating the title track. The giants have also recruited Jonny McBee of The Browning to add a level of intensity that sets the tone for their upcoming record.

Clear masters of the metalcore song formula, Caliban’s electric riffs and intense screams synergize with Jonny’s deep gutturals to harness a unique noise that gives me almost euro-sounding Parkway Drive vibes. Caliban’s interpretation of a tale about never giving up is inspiring, as the emotional songwriting hits home and is further emphasised by atmospheric melodies and sensational production.

This declaration of survival was my first taste of this iconic band and led me to check out their three previously released singles from the upcoming album. The talent on display in ‘I Was A Happy Kid Once‘, ‘Echoes‘, and ‘Guilt Trip (Featuring Mental Cruelty), has certainly whet my appetite for Back From Hell which will no doubt become a staple in this year’s influx.

Be sure to give it a spin on April 25th, 2025.
