A Sound Engineer Cooked blink-182's iHeartRadio Performance

Now, despite what you think about the current lineup in blink-182, you can't help but feel sorry for the guys, especially guitarist Matt Skiba for this colossal fuck up during the start of their recent iHeartRadio ALTer EGO performance.

As the band whipped out their infamous gig intro song 'Feeling This', someone allegedly had Tom DeLonge's vocal parts playing through the system which then came through the speakers and, as expected, threw Skiba off as he was singing his parts. The true extent of the issue can be witnessed at the 1:30 mark as he's trying to figure out WTF is going on. Mark Hoppus also noticed early into the performance, smiling and soldiering through like a champ without drawing too much attention to it.

Now I would never wish ill upon Skiba because after the release of their latest album NINE (my review here), he's really proven himself and his worth to the band and won me (one of the biggest blink critics) over because of that album, so to see him struggle like that during a massive performance, broadcast to the world, you can't help but feel sorry for the bloke.

Anyway, the gig went on and in some parts, they just turned down the backing track during parts where Tom would have sung and let the crowd take over instead, but still, you'd be seething if that happened to you right!?
