Bad/Love Wake Us Up with New Banger ‘5AM’

It’s all systems go for Melbourne’s Bad/Love this week. As they get ready to open for UK post-hardcore heavyweights Caskets on their Australian tour, the Aussie quartet have dropped ‘5AM’, the second single off their upcoming EP Mono No Aware Part III

The new release follows the pop-leaning metalcore act’s February single ‘UNGØD‘. Continuing to go from strength to strength, their current run with Caskets and Seattle rockers The Home Team adds to the list of the incredible support slots they have picked up since their inception. The list includes renowned acts Sleeping With SirensLike Moths To FlamesRedHookDream On DreamerJohn Floreani and in February this year, metalcore OG’s Atreyu.

‘5AM‘ has a sensual but melancholy feel; a sonic representation of the bad decisions of the heart we tend to make at five am. Heavy and slow grooving verses weave into a soulful, catchy chorus that will wiggle its way into your brain. Ending with a crescendo, and a snarling breakdown- this latest offering from Bad/Love brings in pop-writing sensibilities without losing it’s authentic metalcore feel.
