Knocked Loose Unveil New LP “You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To” + Drop ‘Blinding Faith’
One of the biggest names in modern hardcore Knocked Loose are continuing their streak of dropping banger after banging. The last off the rank of stellar releases is the new single ‘Blinding Faith’.
Always pushing the envelope and challenging the boundaries set on them, Knocked Loose has always done things their way. From a Coachella set to touring with Motionless in White, last year the band released the Upon Loss Singles, featuring their double singles ‘Deep In The Willow’ and ‘Everything Is Quiet Now’. Giving us the iconic “KNOCKED LOOSE MOTHERFUCKER” mosh call.
Following up on such a highly acclaimed release like the Upon Loss Singles was always going to be a difficult task but if anybody is up to it it’s the lads from Kentucky. The inspiration for the new album title (You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To – out May 10 via Pure Noise) came from an incident with frontman Bryan Garris – who suffers from a “borderline phobia of flying” – where he confided in his plane neighbour during a bout of anxiety, to which she assured him, “You won’t go before you’re supposed to.”
Filled with angst and plenty of heavy moments, the band assures fans to expect some of their fastest and biggest work to date as they shared:
“On this album, we go the fastest we’ve ever gone; we go the scariest we’ve ever gone. We also go the catchiest and the most melodic that we’ve ever gone, and that’s the point… Instead of branching off into a specific direction, we want to encompass ALL directions.”
