Crossfaith Are Taking It Back To ‘Zero’ In Their Long-Awaited Return

It’s almost too long since we’ve had new music from Crossfaith but never fear, the wait is over. The Japanese metalcore legends have returned better than ever with their new single ‘Zero‘. Along with a new single, the band welcomes guitarist Daiki Koide officially into the fold.

Their first new release since 2022 could not have come at a better time. The band is about to hit our shores next week as part of the CVLTFEST lineup and their first headline tour of Australia with fellow countrymen Paledusk., the Osaka natives have been sorely missed down under and will without a doubt make up for lost time.

Zero‘ is the start of a new era of Crossfaith. While the band sadly said goodbye to the original bass player Hiroki Ikegawa earlier this month, who has been missing from their activities for some time now, they picked up the pieces and are entering their next phase. Always pushing the envelope sonically, ‘Zero‘ is both a reclamation of status and a refresh. Kicking off with a thrashy first verse, it quickly descends into the catchy sections we come to expect.

Frontman Kenta Koie sounds better than ever. Tatsuya Amano shows why he is one of the most sought-after drummers in the Japanese music scene, working overtime to drive the song forward. Programmer Teru Tamano and guitarists Kazuki Takemura and Daiki combine their talents to blend the EDM vibes and furious riffs effortlessly, giving us that unique Crossfaith sound.

There is no doubt this track is going to rip live. So don’t miss them when they are on our shores next week wiht their own headline shows. Tickets are on sale here.
