Bad Wolves Bound Ahead With ‘Bad Friend’ Off New Upcoming Album

Bad Wolves Die About It

U.S. rockers Bad Wolves have been keeping busy with a consistent surfacing of new music for their dedicated fanbase. Since their 2021 album Dear Monsters with new vocalist (and ex-Acacia Strain guitarist) Daniel ‘DL’ Laskiewicz, the four-piece have been bounding ahead with a plethora of new tunes.

Since then Bad Wolves released 2022 EP Sacred Kiss to redux the Dear Monsters single, featuring Of Mice & Men‘s Aaron Pauley. The band have been having all kinds of fun and even recorded a cover of Ozzy Osbourne‘s ‘Mama I’m Coming Home‘.

Well, the wolves are done messing around in the studio and are back with their latest single, the first of what may be a few as the band prepare for their next album cycle. Bad Wolves have released new track ‘Bad Friend‘ via Better Noise Music.

The three-minute song kicks in with crunchy guitars, deep growls and a face-full of drums. The rock-come-metal tune has DL deliver his now-signature vocals over The Ex-Man podcast Doc Coyle‘s grinding riffs. ‘Bad Friend‘ is incredibly catchy with the perfect melodic blast-beat breakdown fusion that’ll keep you curious for album #4.

On the new single, DL comments:

Bad friend exemplifies exactly where Bad Wolves always wanted to be as a band. It lives dead centre of being melodically catchy as well as disgustingly heavy and is a great representation of our new upcoming album. This song reminds us that TRUE friendship is not about being perfect or always saying the right thing, but being there for each other through the good times and the bad. Also willing to acknowledge our own mistakes and make things right. If you can’t do that, you might be a Bad fucking friend.”
