Outloved Collab With Ocean Sleeper On New Track ‘Tourniquet’

There must be something in the water out in Gippsland, Victoria. The area is a rich melting pot of alternative music talent, with groups such as Atlvs and Mirrors proving this true. Leading the wave of regional Victorian talent are Outloved and Ocean Sleeper, who have teamed up on the new track ‘Tourniquet’. This isn’t the first time we have seen a cross-over between these two artists, Ocean Sleeper‘s guitarist and clean vocalist Ionei Heckenberg has been working as Outloved‘s producer for years, while Outloved vocalist Jaydon Colvin featured on the track ‘Parasite’, which was released on Ocean Sleeper‘s 2022 EP ‘Is It Better Feeling Nothing’.

This collaboration between friends may have seemed inevitable for a lot of us, however the genre fusing partnership ticks all the boxes for both pop-punk and metalcore fans. The punchy new single explores themes of feeling trapped, letting go from the past and moving forward. Ocean Sleeper vocalists Ionei and Karl take their opportunity in the spotlight to flourish throughout the verses.

This collaboration feels as if it is only the beginning of something special between these two class acts and you bet we are so excited to see what more comes from this partnership.
