As the wave slowly subsides for our Knotfest Australian coverage, we're saving the best for last with our feature-length AfterFilm set for release next week (more on that soon); However, to build anticipation early, we're sharing with you the first look at one of our exceptional segments - our exclusive interview with the masterminds behind the conception of the festival's inaugural debut down under.

At the tail end of the final day in Brisbane, Wall of Sound bossman Paul 'Browny' Brown sat down with organisers Corey Brennan (Slipknot Manager), Chris O'Brien (Destroy All Lines General Manager), and Tim McGregor (TEG Live Managing Director), reflecting on the success of their first-ever SOLD OUT run.

The trio share insights into how long they've been trying to put this event together, the various obstacles they encountered along the way, and the thought process behind selecting the bands on the lineup - curated by Slipknot themselves.

Browny also asked the big question we're all dying to know - given the success of Knotfest's first trip to Australia, which resulted in 90,000 maggots/metalheads collectively attending the Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane dates - does this mean they'll bring it back for future reiterations in the years to come?

The answer? Well, that's just giving it all away, isn't it!
