March is a huge month for new record and August Burns Red's Death Below is right at the top of our radar. The metalcore mammoths will unload the full twelve-track record on 24 March, 2023 via SharpTone Records.
So far, we've heard a taste of their tenth studio album with singles ‘Backfire‘ and ‘Ancestry‘, the latter featuring the one and only Killswitch Engage‘s Jesse Leach. The duo of tracks set the standard for what's yet to come, and now a third has arrived to truly validate that.
Speaking of features, get ready for another one. Today, August Burns Red have shared third single 'Reckoning' featuring Spencer Chamberlain of Underøath. The song goes for a mighty eight-minutes and is a total journey.
'Reckoning' sees the Pennsylvanians ebb and flow through their technical circuit as expected up until the mid-way mark before it a calm interlude bridges the song towards a solo by Chamberlain who completely transforms the tempo and energy of the song before seamlessly transitioning to August Burns Red's emotive driven mayhem.
