Conquer Divide Continue Global Takeover with New Song 'Paralyzed'

After more than grabbing my attention when they collaborated with Electric Callboy on their infectiously catchy earworm 'FCKBOI', I have been keeping an ear out for what US/Canadian and British band Conquer Divide did next - and that day has finally arrived.

The band, consisting of Kiarely “Kia” Castillo (vocals), Janel Duarte (unclean vocals/bass), Kristen Sturgis (rhythm guitar), Izzy Johnson (lead guitar) and Sam Landa (drums) return with 'Paralyzed', a melodic-metal jam that really showcases the musicianship between the band. I can foresee this becoming their stage entrance song with the slow impact drums bringing us up to Kia's alluring pop-infused vocal delivery that's surrounded by soft guitar riffs. Think atmospheric rock that takes us on a journey before opening up with juicy screams and a tasty breakdown towards the climax!

"This song is about battling with mental illness and depression — especially during the pandemic — and feeling like you are too mentally paralyzed to move forward."
