Hardcore Punks Stepson Come Screaming Out The Gates with New Track 'Eraser'

It's about damn time we heard from Brisbane/Meanjin boys Stepson who have been teasing new music for a couple of weeks now and it's finally arrived in the form of melodic-hardcore tuuuune 'Eraser'.

Kicking off festivities we have some cleans easing us back into their world which takes us up to vein-popping screams, thumping drum beats and tag-teaming guitar duelling performed by the dynamic duo Nick Bennett and Robert Suthern - who compliment each other's abilities throughout this single. As for the breakdown? It's chuggy, full of everything you want and more from a breakdown including screams and a scream-a-long group vox section straight after that'll have you belting out the words "Erase Meeeeee" alongside the lads.

On 'Eraser' the band explains:

"Eraser explores the sense of isolation experience over the last two years & how self-destructive tendencies & vices lead to some of the lowest points of our lives."

The band's last album Help Me Help You set them up for big things and with SharpTone Records behind them, the only way to go is up from here! Keep your eyes on them for the rest of the year and into 2023.
