Alpha Wolf Unleash ‘Hotel Underground’ from Upcoming Split EP

It is new music fever at the moment, and we’re all about it. On the same day as their Metalcore Snitches tour mates Fit For A King (with ‘Reaper’), Alpha Wolf have unloaded new track ‘Hotel Underground‘ as part of their split EP The Lost and The Longing with Holding Absence which is set for release on August 15th via Greyscale and Sharptone Records. The single comes off the back of the EP announcement when the two bands shared their ‘Aching Longing’ collab.

If you’ve been following our extensive Metalcore Snitches coverage, you’ll see that we first caught a live glimpse of ‘Hotel Underground‘ at Alpha Wolf‘s opening Perth show (gig review here). Well, now that the tour is over, Alpha Wolf have finally dropped the studio version for you to go manic about. Frontman Lochie Keogh is a force of total mayhem with this one, screaming his way through while the rest of the wolf pack provide banging instrumentals.

On ‘Hotel Underground‘, Lochie says:

“Whenever some bomb drops there’s always those motherfuckers on the side that narrowly avoid the fallout, taking their survival as a flimsy proof of innocence, sitting with their hands over ears crying ‘la la la la.’ Roaches, rats, locusts, pests, rodents, open your ears and listen to me, your time is coming and I’m bringing it to you.”

It was certainly a crowd favourite at their recent shows so if you’re set to see the boys on tour coming up, prepare your necks!
