Earlier this year, Joel Martorana (Endless Heights) announced his new solo venture, Colletto Bianco. On debut ‘Choke‘, we were introduced to the character’s intriguing personality, which had us instantly captivated and wanting to uncover more about this “uncompromisingly valiant, proud, chauvinistic character.”
Well, if you too have been hanging out to hear more from Colletto, chapter two is officially here. ‘Throne‘ builds on pushes us deeper into the character’s world, with the help of an unsettling blend of gritty pop and emo jazz flavours to lure us in as much as the latest Netflix series has. To take us on a further deep dive, Martorana shares:
“Throne was an incredible song to dive into the character of Colletto, and plays on my own impatience or temptation to take ‘short cuts’ or look to quick fixes… when really there are no shortcuts in life without consequences.”
Honestly, if you missed the boat with Colletto Bianco before, it’s not too late. This latest surge will have you fully immersed in the bold soundscapes that are being produced through its infectious pop beats and have you anticipating hearing so much more from Joel Martorana in the near future.
