We Burn Bridges Return with the Meaty 'Predator'
It's been way too long, but the We Burn Bridges camp is buzzing with activity once again! The Top End metal act have re-emerged with the 80s-inspired track 'Predator' and a turbulent move into darker waters. Holy shit — within two listens our minds have been blown.
'Predator' ignites the fuse for We Burn Bridges as they expand their sound into the wider metal genre. The tight riffs and deafening beats throughout sounds like the kind of disruptive move the Australian metal scene has been asking for in 2022. Who better to make that move than Darwin's very own We Burn Bridges? The band share:
"We chose 'Predator' to be our leading single as it encapsulates the classic We Burn Bridges sound but pushes into darker, heavier, moodier territory. It's invigorating for the band as we delve into new grounds of collaborative song writing and experimenting with sounds we never have before."
If you need a reminder as to why we reckon these boys are the future of Aussie metalcore, reminisce back with their 2019 debut, Head Prison. We saw it with Tapestry, Draftday and Danger Den, but there's some underrated alt/heavy music magic lurking amongst the humidity of the Top End.
