Spitting Teeth Deliver Hell With 'Empathy'

There's something in the deathcore waters at the moment, and whatever it is, it better be here to stay. What am I talking about? With groovy nu-deathcore bands emerging on the back of pioneers like Alpha Wolf, we're hearing tracks like 'Deathtouch' by Melbourne's Gravemind and 'Snake Eater' by Brisbane's Diesect emerging, and raising some eyebrows with this new style.

Hats off to our good mate Ethan 'New Music' Parish for sharing with us the new single from Birmingham band Spitting Teeth, not to be confused with the five-piece Sydney band with the same moniker. On the back of their debut single 'Suffer' back in 2019 and follow-up 'Rose' in 2021, the UK outfit are turning heads with their latest effort 'Empathy'.

The track fuses a deathcore intro with that evolving synth-sound that amplifies the groove ten-fold. Transitioning into hardcore elements, Spitting Teeth retain their stupidly heavy sound and stellar production for a new band on the scene. 'Empathy' shows a whole lot of promise for the Brits, and hopefully some big releases coming soon.
