Inertia Unveil 'Arisaka' Ahead Of EP Next Week

Making good on their promise to deliver cutting edge rock this year, Sydney's Inertia have come out the gates flying with second single 'Arisaka'. The song is a roaring soundscape and a taste of what's to come when new EP, Memoria is unleashed next week.

'Arisaka' opens up with a synth-filled intro before the drums kick in and we're thrown into a high velocity of futuristic, post-hardcore glory. The track feels like an empowering wave atmospheric hard rock seemingly inspired by the fellow Aussies Northlane and UK's ERRA. Vocalist Julian Latouche shares the thrilling narrative:

"Every great story needs an attention grabbing opening. 'Arisaka' is that powerful beginning we wanted for the story we created with this EP, following the protagonist's descent into blind rage and vengeance, wanting only retribution."

Following along from leading track 'Hivemind', Inertia recently joined Australian metal label Resist Records and we're not complaining about this new partnership at all. With Resist being one of the country's most iconic heavy labels out there, we feel that these boys are in good hands and are already anticipating what else is to unfold following the EP's release next week.

Memoria is out March 18 through Resist Records. Pre-order here
