carolesdaughter Unleashes Anthem for the Misfits of Today with 'Target Practice'

Thea Taylor, or more publicly known as carolesdaughter is the fly-under-the-radar alternative pop act who is shaking up the music world one song at a time. Since going viral with breakout track, 'Violent', the 19-year-old singer has transformed her dark teenage 'Trailor Trash' experiences into mellowed out rebel pop that even Avril Lavigne would turn her head at.
Her fan base continues to grow at an alarming rate, thanks to her massive TikTok following, and her latest single is set to see her soar as it comes on the horizon of her forthcoming US tour with nothing, nowhere. 'Target Practice' is Taylor's most fired-up track yet. While it does follow her previous songs with the acoustic guitar intro, the song transform into what is the emo pop punk anthem for Gen Z's:
"I wrote ‘Target Practice’ as an anthem for the misfits. My mom always told me if you got made fun of in school, it meant you were going to do well in life — and this song is what I wish I could’ve said."
Needless to say, it's a pretty catchy song that's sure to draw in a wider audience due to that whole goth/punk aesthetic she's seemingly perfected with each new release. If you think the kids of today are outta touch with their music, think again. carolesdaughter has got the spirit I remember from the early 2000s, that's for sure.
