Metalcore titans August Burns Red have dropped a new song overnight titled 'Vengeance'. The track comes only days into their U.S. tour with some of our favourites, namely Fit For A King, ERRA, and Like Moths To Flames. August Burns Red released a collab EP Guardians of the Path, with Fit For A King earlier this year where the bands played a couple of each other's songs. From Christmas albums, to 10 year anniversary albums (namely Leveler which they're currently touring), August Burns Red are ready for anything and it looks like their near big chapter is on the horizon with 'Vengeance'. The band have released the new song on their own label ABR Records, indicating they're all about the independent route at the moment, which is cool to see. There's no word yet of an EP/LP to come with the track, but we'll keep you posted on that.
'Vengeance' is around for a good time, not a long time - it's a quick one. Spanning less than three-minutes, vocalist Jake Luhrs pours it all into the track. It's got all of your key August Burns Red signature sounds, the catchy chorus, heavy melodies and all, but quite frankly, it picks things up a notch. They go full-ball on this one from start-to-finish with a component of brutality we may not have quite seen in the metalcore band in quite some time (if not ever). It's also great just to hear some brand new kick-ass music from the band, as always. August Burns Red band drop an earthquake of a breakdown towards the end and will leave you holding for dear life onto the nearest thing to you.
