The Devil Wears Prada Unveil Post-ZII Next Era Song 'Sacrifice'

We've only just recovered from our ZII hangover (our review here), which we wished would never end, but The Devil Wears Prada are not keeping us hanging at all, and have dropped a brand new single titled 'Sacrifice'. It's unclear whether the single as the kick-off of a new upcoming EP/LP, but at this stage it may seem greedy to expect it. However, recently Mike Hranica told us that ZIII was not off the cards.

Let's dive head-first into 'Sacrifice', which has just graced its entry unto the world, and the band have teased it might have the sludgiest breakdown they've ever put together. Whilst there are follow-on sounds from ZII, it's clear that The Devil Wears Prada are resuming their pre-zombie sequel edition from where they left off from The Act in 2021. 'Sacrifice' is the perfect mixture of crunchy and melodic, combining elements from their deep roots above and branches below and their modern sounds. Moving onto that sludge-goodness, get ready for the metalcore band to deliver you hell from around three-minutes, when the build-up continues for another thirty-seconds and then it all comes crashing down.

It's great to see how energetic The Devil Wears Prada are, with new music already coming our way. The band have teased that this is the new era, so we'll be waiting with baited breath for another EP/LP announcement, so watch this space.
