Alright riff-heads, you’re going to want to get across this one. So, fairly new deathcore kids on the block Brand of Sacrifice only just dropped their monster album Lifeblood earlier this year – which received the attention and praise of many. The record is packed with a punch, and we thought they’d let us sit on that for a bit. Alas, they’re already on some new shit, and we’re not upset about it.
The band have unleashed a new track called ‘Enemy’ and it features no other than Underoath‘s Spencer Chamberlain who’s also having a big day of his own (UO just announced their new record Voyeurist). Brand of Sacrifice are loving guest features and have quite a few of them on their latest record too.
So, let’s take a look at ‘Enemy’. It’s got blood-spilling riffs and continues with the same energy Brand of Sacrifice delivered this year on Lifeblood. There’s symphonic elements and straight-up deathcore mayhem. Wait ’til the end though, Chamberlain joins the band for a delicious/disgusting breakdown (depending on your vernacular). Will certainly be interesting to see what else the band have in store for the rest of the year, they’re hungry for it, and we’re ready!
