Meet Me @ The Altar Drop New Single ‘Feel A Thing’

I didn’t think these kids could go even bigger than their last single ‘Hit Like A Girl’, but holy shit. American rising stars Meet Me @ The Altar are proving that they’re an absolutely unstoppable force this year. The delightful, young and bright trio just dropped their new single ‘Feel A Thing’ and from the getgo here, my mind is blown.

From the sad AF lyrics to that massive riff energy, Meet Me @ The Altar somehow make sad way too happy, and I’m so about that. This band is no doubt leading the easycore revolution in 2021, but if you’re a little confused about this subgenre, let me introduce ya. The ‘easycore’ style kinda stemmed from bands who combined cheerful pop punk melodies with unbeatable hardcore breakdowns, like New Found Glory and Four Year Strong. During the mid-2000s, recently reformed outfit Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! grew the subgenre to even more prominence with their explosive pop punk anthems that kinda straddle the softer side of metalcore.

Anyhow, ‘Feel A Thing’ is a banger in its own right and apart from making you wanna mosh in your bedroom, it will make you feel not just one thing, but all of the good things. Listen, rinse, REPEAT and get fucking keen for the band’s hotly anticipated six-track EP, Model Citizen, out August 13 via Fueled By Ramen/Warner Music. Pre-order that bad boy here
