Meet Me @ The Altar Dropped The Heaviest Pop Punk Anthem of the Week with ‘Hit Like A Girl’

If you’re all about those pop punk breakdowns and catchy singalong gang choruses, you can’t go past America’s newest kids on the block. Meet Me @ The Altar are a nostalgic, yet refreshing three piece who are part of the new crop of pop punkers in 2021. The band consists of lead vocalist Edith Johnson, guitarist/bassist Téa Campbell and drummer Ada Juarez and only formed together in the midst of 2020, with their debut single ‘Garden’

Now, the three piece are back with their second single ‘Hit Like A Girl’  and it packs a gigantic punch of instantly infectious punk melodies and pop choruses. The song is a super positive, high-energy anthem that kinda chucks them inbetween Four Year Strong, Tonight Alive and Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! While lyrically it is a little cheesy, we’ll let that slip by because those pop punky breakdowns are tasty AF.
