Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! Stay True To Their Core in 'Gone Are The Good Days'

French pop punks Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! made their highly anticipated comeback last month, adding a "bitter" taste in our mouths (quite the opposite of bitter actually!) with their latest single alongside the announcement of their forthcoming fourth album, Gone Are The Good Days.
On the band's newest single which also happens to be the title track, frontman Bertrand Poncet is seen reflecting on the band's memories, achievements and the adventures they found themselves in from their previous releases. 'Gone Are The Good Days' reigns in some bouncy pop punk fun, with a sprinkle of just the right amount of heavy chug and nostalgia to entice their early fans from the Something For Nothing days.
One thing you can count on with Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! though is the ability not to alienate their fanbase too far from what we love to hear most. I'm sure that we can count on this album seeing the band being true to their core more than ever before.
Gone Are The Good Days is out July 30 through Fearless Records/Virgin Australia. Pre-order here
