Defiler Drop New EP 'A Deity Depraved' and New Single 'Jamboree'

US deathcore band Defiler have dropped their first extended release in almost ten years. The new EP A Deity Depraved has arrived in the midst of frontman Jake Shaw's ongoing health battle updates. To say we're stoked to see Jake doing well enough to release not only an EP, but also a brutal and energetic music video - warms our hearts.

New single 'Jamboree' sports an accentuated nu-deathcore side to the band that really works, given Shaw's vocal style. It's highly melodic in a demonic way. The band are tuned down and definitely combine eclectic styles into this one. Really enjoyed hearing part of the next chapter of Defiler after a tumultuous little while.

The band's EP dropped overnight on Apple Music, and is believed to be available on all streaming platforms soon enough, so watch this space.
