Days Like These Change the Pace on 'Honey'

Brisbane's Days Like These have been full steam ahead with their new tracks lately and we are fully appreciating this new evolution. It sounds like the boys have finally found their musical calling and are proving to be a strong contender in Brisbane's alternative/metal scene alone.
The band's third single off their upcoming EP Wide Awake, 'Honey' is a smooth, melodic piece that is a melting pot of metal, pop and R&B. Arousing our senses with pulsating beats before increasing the mood with a thundering, melodic rock riff, I love a band that's not afraid of pushing musical boundaries and testing their limits. Vocalist Callen Batson shares:
"We wrote it in the studio with Chris and it turned out to be one the standout tracks. The band has always wanted to experiment with different sounds but we never quite clicked on how to do it successfully. Chris played a huge role in developing our song writing skills and helped see our vision through."
Days Like These's new EP, Wide Awake is out next Friday on May 14th. Pre-save here
