Architects Debut Stadium Rock Banger ‘Dead Butterflies’

If you caught Architects – Live at the Royal Albert Hall Livestream (our review here), then you’d have already come across this banger of a track from their forthcoming album For Those That Wish To Exist (out February 26 via Epitaph Records). If not, it’s here for you.

Dead Butterflies‘ is the band’s latest offering from their forthcoming album and it is HUUUGE. So huge our reviewer mentioned this upon hearing it for the first time during that stream:

“[‘Dead Butterflies‘] sounds fucking huuuuuuuuuuuge!!!!! It’s atmospheric stadium rock and given the venue Architects are playing it in for the very first time, it fills the entire Royal Albert Hall and at this moment, you can’t help but think that this is possibly going to be an instant fan favourite anthem upon release. The quality in this is insane and proves they’ve taken their sound to new heights and literally on the doorstep of becoming the UK’s next large scale heavy band. Once again, can’t fucking wait for this new album!”

That brass and string section. Those cleans. That EPIC sound. Goddamn it.

The new release is out in just over 5 weeks and from what we’ve heard so far with ‘Animals‘ and ‘Black Lungs‘, it is without a question of doubt going to be a primary contender for Album of the Year.

You heard it here first.
