LOSER Drop New Single ‘Upside Down’

Aussie rockers LOSER are proving they’re anything but this year with their critically acclaimed record, Mindless Joy making its way onto some of our fave albums released this year (our review here). The band are keeping the wheels in motion and have just unleashed their brand new single, ‘Upside Down’ which may/may not be inspired by the events of 2020. Vocalist Tim Maxwell shares:

“‘Upside Down’ is about your own personal response to the state of the world. You can either let it consume you, or you can find safety within yourself and watch as the chaos ensues… I guess this is my first political song, I don’t really like to write that way usually but seeing all the news that was shoved down our throats at the time and just being left there to deal with it made me angry.”

While it’s very reflective of the year that was, ‘Upside Down’ is a feelgood anthem that makes you wanna sit back and enjoy life as it is. But also, doesn’t it kinda remind you of End of Fashion’s hit song ‘O’ Yeah’?

Grab a beer and turn it up!
