Diamond Construct Announce DCX2 EP + Drop New Single 'Psychosis'

The news you've been eagerly anticipating is here with Diamond Construct finally announcing their new EP DCX2 will be released on August 28th via Greyscale Records and bout they've come back swinging!

They first caught out attention with their hella impressive debut self-titled album (our review here) and hectic live shows and we've been keen to see what they do next. Their first new single ''Psychosis' is certainly going to send fists flying with it's blend of industrial metalcore and borderline rap elements. These guys fit nicely amongst Greyscale's heavy roster and with every new release, it's evident why!

On the new release bassist Alex Ford explains:

"DCX2 was written at a time of great change for Diamond Construct, and this bleeds through the new sound, steering band and listener alike towards a destination unexplored."

When it came to the roadmap for creation, guitarist Braden Groundwater says:

"There was no guidelines, just a vision. We were listening to a lot of modern trap and EDM and blending it with everything we built on our last record. Honestly more then anything, writing music right now for Diamond Construct just feels more fun than ever before, resulting in our most honest release. We experimented with a lot of cool 808s, electronic drums, and Guitar FX. The writing approach for DCX2 was totally different anything we've written in the past few years."
