We’re back (soz for the delay) with the next contributor for our 2019 Year In Review series and the one and only Jack Bergin of Void of Vision is here to chime in with his favs from the year. But it’s not all about the bands he frothed, VoV released their career-defining album Hyperdaze which was well received by fans and critics alike, setting them up as key players in Australia’s heavy music scene.
It’s only a matter of time before they’re playing bigger shows, larger venues and infecting the masses with their sounds… Until then, see what Mr Bergin dug about the year below…

Bring Me The Horizon at Rod Laver definitely springs to mind first, to have watched them climb to reach that scale is phenomenal and the live show that night was out of this world. A very cool thing to see
Best/Most Memorable Show Your Band Played In 2019?
Electric Brixton, London on the Northlane Alien tour is the most fresh in our mind. The first time on the other side of the world playing to a crowd that large and receptive was unreal, definitely one for the books.

Most looking forward to touring new places that we’ve never been before, can’t wait to take Hyperdaze worldwide
