Mark Hoppus & Tom DeLonge Will Go Head To Head Releasing New Music This Week

The claws are out and... naa I'm not gonna be THAT kind of publication, but OG blink-182 members Tom DeLonge and Mark Hoppus will both be releasing new music on Friday/Saturday with their side projects and both are going to be veryyyy different from their crappy pop punk roots.
First up, Mark Hoppus' synthpop act Simple Creatures (who on Tuesday were announced will be making their Aussie debut at Good Things Festival) will release a new song called 'Thanks, I Hate It' which is from their forthcoming Everything Opposite EP. That release is looking like it'll be out on September 13th with the band/duo looking like they'll unveil an album in 2020. Pre-save link here

Next up, is Tom DeLonge's Angels & Airwaves who have dropped a teaser for their new song titled 'Kiss & Tell' which, unlike their first single 'Rebel Girl', hones in on Tom's signature guitar tones and (potentially) sounds like it could be akin to that of some of AvA's earlier work (think back to We Don't Need To Whisper or I-Empire eras with a touch of new).
I don't know about you but I am FROTHING at the mouth for new Angels & Airwaves music and with the band recently announcing ex-Taking Back Sunday/All American Rejects member Matt Rubano had officially taken the role of bassist, we can only expect things to get better from here.
Also, there's a good chance Travis Barker may be releasing new music on Friday too, it's just too hard to keep up with the GOAT though as he's usually dropping a new, collaborative song with rappers every other week. Keep an eye out and let me know if you spot anything hahaha
