DZ Deathrays Are Hitting The Road
The DZ Deathrays lads recently announced their new album Positive Rising: Part 1 is set for release on August 30th and to celebrate you can catch them on tour throughout October/November alongside Polish Club, VOIID, The Buoys.
DZ’s forthcoming release is set to be massive with The Bronx frontman Matt Caughthran doing guest vocals on their latest single ‘Year Of The Dog‘ which vocalist Shane Parsons explained was a great experience:
“Matt from The Bronx, one of our all-time favourite bands, drove an hour from his house, came into the vocal booth and nailed his part on, like, the first go… I felt bad for making him drive so far. But it was also just a showcase of how good a vocalist he is… and that was unreal for me, because now with Lachlan in the band, I’ve been trying to approach things from a vocalist’s perspective, and it shows you how hard you’ve got to work.”
