Ummm, Queen are gearing up to announce a huge Australian Stadium Tour

UPDATE: It’s Confirmed! Queen‘s Rhapsody Tour will hit Australia during February 2020. All the ticketing + date details below!!

We’re getting pretty good at predicting/breaking tours, so why stop now!? This one was spotted by our very own Grey Nomad photographer Mick Goddard who came across some 2020 Tour Dates on Queen‘s website for Australia… these shows are yet to be announced and upon further inspection, the dates have now been removed from the website (probably due to going up early OR due to the incorrect spelling of Australia), but what we can tell you from what we saw is the band will be down under throughout February 2020 playing in all Capital Cities on the touring circuit and a show at Metricon Stadium on the Gold Coast on Feb 29th (that’s a leap year kids).

There are plenty of dates between shows, so there could potentially be more performances announced if any of these sell out and judging by the reception on the band’s last tour of Australia in 2018 (our Sydney coverage here) and given the success and praise that came from their Bohemian Rhapsody biographical movie, chances are they’ll do it all again with this tour too.

Fun Fact: Adam Lambert was also in the movie in a sneaky cameo role as the trucker Freddie Mercury looks at, at the petrol station… Mind Blown!
