Oh man, this is hard. On June 23 last year we lost one of heavy music's most recognised faces and names, Vinnie Paul, who sadly passed away at age 54 due to health complications. At the time he had just wrapped up recording the new HELLYEAH album and, despite the tragic circumstances, the band have soldiered on out of respect to their fallen comrade and intend on releasing his last ever collection of music with them almost a year later.

The first track from the yet to be titled album is '333' a heavy, headbang-inducing track with a heavy as fuck music video to go with it, where the band celebrate the life of Vinnie in a bar, drinking, screaming and enjoying life.

There are plenty of cutaways to photos of Vinnie which really hit hard, but I/we are glad the band have continued on to release the music he and the band worked so hard on getting finished for us. At the climax of the video, there's even a tribute to the metal hero which may result in salt water to leak from your eye sockets.

The new album is set for release on June 28th and pre-orders are currently in place here for fans to get in early. Artwork and title still on the way. Chad Gray, Tom Maxwell, Christian Brady and Kyle Sanders still remain in the band, it is unclear how they will continue without their late drummer...

Following Vinnie Paul's passing, we gathering some anecdotes from several of his business associates, fans and our writers who all had some incredible stories to share from over the years. You can revisit that piece right here.

Stay tuned for more details about the new HELLYEAH album...
