They’ve been making a name for themselves since the Gold Coast music scene died in the late 2000s, but punk rockers Being Jane Lane are a band who in a few years time, you’ll be putting in the same category as Frenzal Rhomb, Area 7, Flangipanis and The Bennies. In the short amount of years they’ve been together, they’ve opened for a stack of heavyweight international (and local) acts, scored themselves the 2017 People’s Choice Award the Gold Coast Music Awards and won a spot on the 2018 VB Hard Yards Tour (revisit our interview/podcast with them here).
