They’re fast becoming one of the next big bands to watch in the heavy music scene and now we get to see what the fuss is about as Alien Weaponry will be heading across Australia while they’re here for Download Festival in March. Quietly on their social media pages, the trio announced shows in Brisbane, Adelaide, Canberra and Perth (along with Sydney and Melbourne Download slots), however, no venues have been revealed yet. I guess that information will be given once tickets go on sale on Thursday.
We recently caught up with Lewis de Jong who at just 16 years old, has toured the globe and played with some huge acts like Arch Enemy, Behemoth and Sepultura at Wacken 2018, something which the band never thought they’d do:
Wacken was literally our goal from the start. A dream come true. After getting off that stage I felt like I had really achieved something. It was probably one of the best moments of my life.
What were you doing with your life at 16? haha Tickets go on Sale Thursday, Noveber 22nd via here. We’ll update the venues once we find out where they’re playing.
