Wall of Sound: Up Against The Wall Episode #29 feat. Tom Morello is OUT NOW

Holy Shit. Where do you even begin explaining where our next guest co-host is from. With such a prolific background, you almost don’t need to, but for the ill-informed, it is our great pleasure to reveal Tom Morello is our next guest on Wall of Sound: Up Against the Wall. A talented (actual) Guitar Hero whose career spans decades within the music industry, including bands such as Rage Against The Machine, Audioslave, The Nightwatchman and his now role as shredmaster within Prophets of Rage, the rap/rock supergroup consisting of members of RATM, Cypress Hill and Public Enemy who are making their Australian debut at Download Festival Melbourne and it’s sideshows next month.

It’s no secret, Tom is a very outspoken man and he isn’t afraid to tell it like it is, in his quest to right the wrongs of others and speak the truth and there’s so much “fake news” in the world. As far as punk rock’s no fucks given attitude, this is a man who gives no fucks about those doing wrong in the world, including the bald, wig wearing clown in the white house right now. But as a musician responsible for inspiring so many, does he still have fanboy moments meeting his musical idols and what has changed with his ways of dealing with depression and mental health following the passing of his Audioslave frontman Chris Cornell? There’s so much ground to be covered with so little time so get ready for one of the most comprehensively focused podcasts to date.

Your host Browny also discusses one of the first former supergroups Tom Morello joined alongside members of Jane’s Addiction and Alice in Chains back in the late 90’s, the two Australian bands revealed to take to the stage alongside Prophets of Rage at Download Festival and Tim Price from The Faction takes over ‘Two Songs That Changed Me‘.
