Sydney riff-lords Bare Bones drop new video for ‘Ravensburg’

Fresh off a huge year which included releasing their debut album Bad Habits (our review here), touring with Stone Sour up Australia’s east coast and most importantly, guest co-hosting on Wall of Sound: Up Against The Wall, the Bare Bones boys have been balls to the wall making their mark within the heavy music industry and they’re not done yet.

Ahead of their fill in duties on the upcoming Rise Against tour, the band have released a music video for arguably one of the best songs from their latest release, ‘Ravensburg‘ which as bassist James Clarke explains is about life’s everchanging directions:

“Ravensburg delves into the shock and fallout that occurs when our lives throw a complete curveball at us, and despite what we may think, we lack any ability to control what can’t be changed.”

Talking about curveballs, the band have had their fair share over the past few years; some amazing, like opening the final ever day of Soundwave Festival in Sydney and some not so great, including frontman Tom Kennedy fracturing his vertebrae just before their Stone Sour support shows. But with a massive Australian tour looming, the boys are more than keen to get back on the road again James adds:

“I think we’re all pretty excited to be playing these big shows so early in the year. Especially getting out to the left out states, Perth and Adelaide.”

Bare Bones‘ tour with Rise Against kicks off Feb 7th in Perth.
