Wall of Sound presents “2015 YEAR IN REVIEW” – by Storm the Sky’s Andy Szetho

The next guest contributor for Wall of Sound’s Year in Review is Storm the Sky guitarist Andy Szetho, who’s band had one of their best years to date in 2015. Following the release of their debut album “Permanence“, the boys just didn’t seem to want to stop touring and were apart of some of the biggest shows in the country including the UNIFY Festival, In Hearts Wake‘s Skydancer Tour, Sleeping with Sirens Headlining Tour and their own headlining tour supporting their new album.

They’ll be kicking off 2016 supporting Short Stack alongside Young Lions, Move On Be Strong, Day Break and Red Beard. Get your tickets here

BEST SHOW YOUR BAND HAS PLAYED THIS YEAR?

I think our most memorable show of the year was Unify Festival, which just so happened to be our first gig of 2015. At the time it was the biggest audience we’d ever played to and the response from the crowd was overwhelming. There were so many friends playing the festival as well so there was such a warm vibe backstage.

NEXT BIG BAND IN AUSTRALIA (not your own)

I’ve got a good feeling our boys in “Ocean Grove” are going to be massive next year. I’m hoping to see them ride the wave all the way to the top. They’re a breath of fresh air for the Australian heavy music scene and easily one of our best heavy acts. They’re doing their own thing and have the right attitude. I’m telling you now, these guys are going to blow up. Those guys deserve everything coming to them!

Big thanks to Storm the Sky’s Andy Szetho for his contribution
