Guards of May & Gatherer hit the road together in August.
Years ago when Powderfinger and Silverchair hit the road together it brought fans of both bands together in unison and now another two Aussie acts will be setting out across the country for a joint album release tour (and before you say something, No, not that kind of tour Harold & Kumar). Brisbane’s Guards of May who have been very busy opening for bands such as Shihad and Dead Letter Circus and fresh from winning the Heavy Category at the Queensland Music Awards are hitting the road with Melbourne’s Gatherer, who have just toured with The Getaway Plan, in what can only be described as blazing prog rock adventure across the country.
Gatherer‘s new album “Heavy Hail” will land on shelves August 7th and a week later Guards of May‘s “Future Eyes” will drop on August 14th before both bands kick off the nationwide winter tour in Brisbane on August 15th.
