Up Against The Wall

Wall of Sound: Up Against The Wall Episode #57 feat. The Wonder Years & The Used is OUT NOW

Oct 26, 2018

Australia has a Heavy Music Festival Season Again (on the East Coast) and the latest addition to grace us with its presence is Good Things Festival featuring a stack of bands like The Offspring, Dropkick Murphys, Bullet For My Valentine, Northlane, Make Them Suffer, La Dispute, All Time Low and the two special guests co-hosting this week's episode of the podcast.

First up is Dan Campbell from pop punk band The Wonder Years who joins us to chat about their latest album Sister Cities which features a very emotional track Dan wrote after having to travel to Japan for a tour not long after his Grandfather passed away. Its certainly one of the better albums to be released in 2018 so far, but podcast host Browny also accidentally uncovered a secret that Dan and his partner hadn't even told the world yet which has him excited (and scared) for the future.

The second guest is Bert McCracken from The Used who set up shop in Australia six years go to raise his two daughters and from all accounts he's become accustomed to life down under dropping C*Bombs more frequently than normal. He's also on deck to discuss how he still loves playing music from way back in the band's emo catalogue and what the band's setlist will include during their slow on the festival.

We're also playing tracks from bands featuring on the lineup including the brand new one for BABYMETAL. There's also some side news about Static-X and the new album they're working on PLUS a BRAND SPANKIN' new song from AFI.
