WARDRUNA DECLARE THEIR DEBUT EXPEDITION AND “RAIDŌ” ON THE SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE

Imagine experiencing a musical collective who utilise deer-hide frame drums, goat horns, Jouhikko, Kravis-Lyre and then nature itself to create their art that becomes so compelling, it potentially redirects the outlook of how people approach their spiritual mindset.Imagine Australia and New Zealand experiencing such immersive energy for the first time in 2025. That imagination has now become a reality.Around the time span of one moon’s revolution since Scandinavian experimental neofolk outfit Heilung announced their return and extended visit to the Southern Hemisphere; Norwegian collective Wardruna have stated their intent to also enlighten Australia and New Zealand with their narrative that reads:

The outfit has imparted their phenomenal creations to the TV series Vikings as well as one of the most successful video games released Assassin's Creed Valhalla. However, their notoriety was developed well before these pop-culture inclusions, as Einar and former member Gaahl were intergral parts of famed black metal outfit Gogoroth.
