Scandi melodeath fans, you there? The Halo Effect have shared some big news today and Wall of Sound couldn't be more proud to announce that in partnership with Kegstand Productions and Music Management INC, we're presenting their first-ever Australian and New Zealand tour as part of Lagerfest!

So who are The Halo Effect? Charging with their debut record Days Of The Lost last year, a bunch of Gothenburg melodic death metal veterans got together to continue doing what they used to do best. The Swedes are essentially In Flames alumni, including Jesper Strömblad (AKA CYHRA guitarist), Daniel Svensson (drummer), Peter Iwers (bassist), Niclas Engelin (guitarist) and Mikael Stanne (AKA Dark Tranquillity vocalist).

If you're the type to list In Flames' greatest records in some kind of order, this is the group for you. Signed to Nuclear Blast, the band dropped B-side ‘Path of Fierce Resistance‘ to sport across their international touring this year.

With the current In Flames lineup fresh off Aussie shores for the inaugural Knotfest, it's apt timing for this legacy outfit to visit too. The band have already announced their appearance at Adelaide's Froth & Fury Fest on November 18, which boasts a mighty lineup, but it's a far way to travel from Scandinavia for one show.

The Halo Effect have now announced their multi-city Australian tour, starting in Auckland and ending in Melbourne, alongside the likes of Lagerstein (who boast an amazing live show), Beyond The Black and New Zealand's Devilskin - with more to be announced!

All the tour information is below, this one is going to be awesome!
