California punk legends The Offspring have announced their new album, Supercharged, will be released October 11, 2024. To whet our appetite they've dropped first single 'Make it All Right', which has a lot of elements fans will recognise and fits the album's title's high energy vibe. It's vibrant straight out of the gate, with a female vocal sample declaring "All I want to do is fly away with you". There's some cool "ba-bada" chants to singalong with too.Frontman Dexter Holland has revealed the track is a punk love song:

"Our single “Make It All Right” is a great example... because it talks about the people in our lives who make us feel strong when we are feeling low – our partners in crime who make us feel all right."

https://youtu.be/80TyExV8k1IIn talking about the album title, Holland said:

“We wanted this record to have pure energy - from the start to the finish! That’s why we called it SUPERCHARGED. From the height of our aspirations to the depths of our struggles, we talk about it all on this record…in a way that celebrates the life that we share and where we are now."

Having explored some darker themes on albums like Let The Bad Times Roll (review here), this change to positive fits the veteran punkers' state mind as their celebrate both the 30th anniversary of their classic LP Smash and get ready for this new record. And they recently brought out some fan named Ed Sheeran to perform 'Million Miles Away' during their BottleRock performant. Suss that video below.

Supercharged is out October 11, via Concord Records.Pre-Order here.
