Steel Panther are hitting Australian shores in just a few short weeks, bringing with them all the craziness, all the sexiness and all the lube they can cram into their suitcases for a round of dates around our beautiful country. Having last graced our stages back on the Soundwave Festival of 2015, the band are ready to again take on the east coast but are also heading to Adelaide and a have a very special trip west to Perth’s Metros in line – so if you don’t have your tickets, what the fuck are you waiting for!
We thought we’d kick off our build up to the shows with a look at some of the celebs and music icons that have shared the stage or more to the point, often, invaded the stage with Steel Panther in the last few years, and there has been many! It seems, not only do the girls in the crowd want to join the band on stage but some celebrities and other artists jump at the chance of getting their cherries popped by Michael Starr and the boys.
So check out our countdown of Steel Panther’s Top 10 live stage invasions for better or worse and find out who we think should crash the party at a show around Australia.....
10.
Avril Lavigne 'I Love Rock and Roll' (Joan Jett cover)
Whilst getting cosy with Michael Starr's ear lobe for a few moments as she dove onto the stage, the 'Skater Boi' singer, clearly a few drinks into the night, shows that auto tune is very handy for her music as she belts out some of Joan Jett's classic '80s rock anthem, 'I Love Rock and Roll'. Ear plugs may be required.

9.
Kelly Clarkson 'Sweet Child 'O Mine' (Guns 'N Roses cover)
What is it with female pop stars wanting to be rock? The American Idol singer, another, with some 'courage juice' in her belly, attempts to sing the Gunners classic following a bottle of whiskey chug on stage. Hilarity ensues.

8.
Vinnie Paul (Pantera, Hellyeah) and Chad Kroeger (Nickelback) 'You Really Got Me' (The Kinks cover)
If having Chad Kroeger singing wasn't bad enough, he then takes the drum sticks over from Vinnie Paul and vice versa, the former Pantera drummer kills ear drums with some 'attempted' vocals. One of those moments where alcohol helped everyone except those viewing afterwards.

7.
Corey Taylor (Slipknot, Stone Sour) 'Death to all But Metal' (Steel Panther)
Satchel introduces Corey Taylor as Corey Feldman, lol....the Slipknot front man then proceeds to slay the stage with Michael Starr to one of Steel Panther's anthems in front of a huge Download Festival crowd.

6.
Sully Erna (Godsmack) 'Man in the Box' (Alice in Chains cover)
A little off key all around but who gives a fuck!....it's Godsmack and Steel Panther singing Alice in Chains!

5.
Myles Kennedy (Alter Bridge) 'Highway to Hell' (Ac/Dc cover)
This was only in March this year and Myles absolutely slays this Ac/Dc classic. Perhaps, Axl Rose wasn't the right choice afterall?

4.
Pink 'Sweet Child 'O Mine' (Guns 'N Roses cover)
Not the first time Pink has joined the Panthers on stage and we'll steer clear of of the 'Shocker' lyrics (2 in the Pink?) with this one but this shows the pop chick can grace the stage anytime with these guys, nailing the Gunners classic and in the process shaming the aforementioned Kelly Clarkson effort.

3.
Vince Neil (Motley Crue) 'Live Wire' and 'Kickstart My Heart' (Motley Crue covers)
Whilst Neil meanders/tries his best through the two Crue classics, Panther front man, Michael Starr 'rises' and his comment, "You can't deny the heavy metal when it's cumming on your face" when Neil hits the stage is priceless in itself.

2.
Cuba Gooding Jnr (Actor - Snow Dogs) 'Don't Stop Believing' (Journey cover)
Cuba actually sings pretty decent and Satchel's comment to Cuba, 'I love Snow Dogs' is just classic. 'Show me the money'!

1.
Miley and Billy Ray Cyrus 'Pour Some Sugar On Me' (Def Leppard cover)
Billy Ray doing his best Joe Elliott impression and Miley just, well....being Miley. The crowd is into it, Starr is just that and the band blitz as usual. All killer!

So there you go....a small slice of Panther pie and live stage invasions of artists and celebs.
So, we got thinking and who do you think should belt out a tune with Steel Panther in Australia? At first we thought it's gotta be Barnsey but no fucking way....it has to be, clearly has to be, none other than Aussie icon himself, Shannon Noll a.k.a Nollsy!
So share this article, get talking around the water coolers at work or down at the local bar or strip club. Someone must know how....we can get this to happen - MUST happen. Nollsie and Steel Panther, is there anything more dinky-di than that? He just needs to grow his flavour saver back! So hashtag away --> #steelnollsie
