Back in October last year, Static-X surprised the world when they said they were getting back together to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of their incredible album Wisconsin Death Trip and to release an album of unfinished demos, which contain the last vocal sessions frontman Wayne Static recorded before his death. They also needed fans to pledge money towards the project.

Well, it seems as they raised enough money to fund the album and to tour because they're heading down under again for a string of shows across the country too. The OG lineup returns featuring bassist Tony Campos, drummer Ken Jay and guitarist Koichi Fukuda it's not known who they'll have fronted the band at this point.

“Our intention is to pay ultimate respect to Wayne & celebrate the music that’s been in all of our hearts for more than 20 years. It’s all about channelling the vibe from 1999 to the best of our ability and playing those classic STATIC-X songs live and loud with the fans”

But they're also bringing Wednesday13 and dope along for the ride too so three international acts for the price of one.

Tickets on sale March 29 via Metropolis Touring
