Hot off the back of their stellar new single 'Masochist' getting released last week, the boys from Polaris are keeping the momentum flowing into the new year by announcing their highly anticipated sophomore album The Death Of Me which is set for release on February 21st via Resist Records.
On the new release drummer/songwriter Daniel Furnari said:
“Being our second full-length, we knew it was important for us to surprise the listener as well - nobody wants to hear the same record twice. We wanted to give them things they wouldn’t expect, take them to new places, but also for it to be definitively a Polaris record, building on what we’ve been working towards.”
For those wondering if the band will steer away from that debut album's sound, fear not, they've taken your appreciation into consideration too:
“I think a lot of things people enjoyed about The Mortal Coil we’ve managed to retain, but we’ve stretched the envelope further in every direction of what we consider to be our sound. I just don’t think we could have thought of most of this stuff two years ago.”
The lads completely blew expectations out of the water with their debut album The Mortal Coil and loyal fans are set to lose their minds with this new offering which we've also heard another song from, called 'Hypermaina', which they first debuted on their Holy Hell Tour support alongside Architects (revisit that here).
Pre-Order The Death Of Me righhhhht here.

Crystal Lake, one of the most requested bands to tour Australia will also be joining the tour much to our approval and also the fucking Alpha Wolf lords will jump on board too in what is shaping up to be one of the most STACKED Tour lineups for 2020.
BRB hyperventilating!!!
